Port Cunnington Lodge on Lake of Bays has always been one of my favourite wedding spots in Muskoka. From its perfect waterfront, to the cozy cabins spread out around the property, to the feeling of being well away from the "real world," Port Cunnington has a magical vibe that makes it a perfect site for a wedding celebration.
When you add a couple like Mariah and Mark, Port Cunnington also becomes the funnest place in the world.

A few weeks ago, I had the best adventure of the year so far, travelling to Whistler to photograph Sara and Paul's incredible mountain wedding. It was more than a bit mind-blowing. After four days of awesomeness, my memory cards were full, my shoes were worn out from hiking and dancing, and my hands hurt from high fiving.

One of my very few complaints about living in Muskoka is the lack of elevation. After getting used to the enormous backdrops and surreal vistas of the western mountains, the relative flatness of the Canadian Shield makes me yearn for steep cliffs and endless slopes, especially in the winter.
Every once in a while though, I'm reminded that there's still a whole lot of up and down fun to be had in Muskoka.
