Hands down the most beautiful farm venue in Muskoka and beyond, Brooklands Farm near Bracebridge is a photographer’s dream. I’m grateful to have spent so much time on this beautiful, historic property, and look forward to every single wedding that I’m lucky enough to photograph there.
With the world currently on hold, and touring potential wedding venues an impossibility, here’s a virtual look around the magic that is Brooklands Farm.
AN OVERVIEW
Everywhere you turn at Brooklands, natural beauty abounds. The aerial view below shows the gardens, barn and cabin and pond, (the sailcloth tent sits right in the middle, but is obscured by trees.) This is all surrounded by acres of farmed fields and untouched forest.
THE HERITAGE LOG CABIN
This beautiful building sits just next to the historic barn, and is filled with warmth and history. With a kitchenette, two bathrooms and lots of space to spread out, many couples choose to get ready in the cabin, and use it as a quiet escape from the celebration.
THE CEREMONY SITE
Saying vows is the most important part of a wedding day, and there is no more beautiful place for important words than under the towering white pines at Brooklands.
THE SAILCLOTH TENT
New last year, this gorgeous and timeless tent is a perfect backup ceremony site on wetter days, a great place for cocktails on a sunny day, and a sublime nighttime location.
THE POND
A favourite spot for photos, the pond sits just behind the ceremony site and features a floating dock and vivid blue water that mirrors the sky.
INSIDE THE BARN
This space is meant for a crowd. Soaring ceilings and twinkling lights are included - decorations are only limited by your imagination.
FOR YOUR GUESTS
Brooklands is utterly charming for your guests. From the moment they set foot on the property, they’ll be well taken care of, with endless space to roam and chill on the beautiful grounds. Unlike many other farm venues, Brooklands features multiple spacious and clean indoor bathrooms (not pictured) so you don’t have to worry about your guests suffering through the typical farm wedding porta-potty experience.

There is really no end to the incredibly beautiful backdrops that Brooklands offers. Everywhere you turn is another beautiful planting, farm feature, or perfect vignette. Laneways, farm roads, towering trees, fence lines, tractors and barn doors, oh my!
TIME TO PARTY
With a full service bar attached to the barn and space for you and your closest people to have a history-making dance marathon, Brooklands is party central.
BROOKLANDS AT NIGHT
Solar lights dot the paths around the property, the bonfire is lit as dusk approaches, and a sky full of stars puts a shine on the end of the best day ever.
